Dalchini, or cinnamon, is a spice used widely as a flavoring additive in various cuisines for sweet and savory dishes alike. The tree can reach a height of 6 to 15 meters. The bark and leaves are then processed until the dry bark is sold. Cinnamon is full of antioxidants and reduces the risk of heart disease, as well as having anti-inflammatory and anti-diabetic effects.
