Our mission is to support the farming communities in Deusa, Nepal, that are struggling to adapt to the changes their agricultural practices are facing as a result of climate change. Your contribution towards seeds, farming equipment and plants will go directly to the farmers in Deusa and will help change their lives. This initiative is in partnership with The Glacier Trust, UK.
Resources for Change is a student initiative led by Trisha Rai and Ewa Marczuk, two students from Hong Kong who decided to start this project after spending one week in October of 2018 with the farmers in Deusa. Resources for Change partnered up with The Glacier Trust and EcoHimal Nepal to enable farmers in remote mountain communities to adapt their farming techniques to the effects of climate change. Through Resources for Change you can purchase essential seeds and seedlings on behalf of farmers in the community of Deusa, Solukhumbu, and contribute to the cost of the training needed to grow them successfully.
